Cool app, but it stayed open in the background for hours and hours and drained my battery until I killed it manually. Thats a fail.

Im a guitar player, and I downloaded this on a whim. Im glad I did. Load this into AUM and add a guitar effect app on another channel and you can play along with some music you might not have tried. The sound packs are excellent and the effects are worth the money. I ended up buying every effect and extension they offer. Since then Ive learned TONS about song construction and sound layering. I use this every day now and love it. Load up your headphones and this is a music studio in your hand. Buy it and watch the fun grow.
Love this app since they upgraded it so you can import your own samples, but need little more sample time like 20sec will pay extra for it,then I will give 5 stars
This music pad app is the top of the music pad apps, with some very unique and useful tools for sound manipulation, including the ability to edit how each pad reacts and adjust the volume for the pad blocks or the individual loops. Its easy to learn and use, but as advanced as the best music software Ive used for music on a computer, except it fits on my phone with the added benefit of touch screen.
This app ran in the background of my phone for 48 hours draining the battery before I noticed. Other than that novation is an excellent and wonderful tool for making music. Please fix!
There should be a setting to change the colors of the launchpad mini. Its kind of basic. But like the songs on edm that r on sale!
This app has the potential to be really great. Its fun for beginners and pros alike, and could really be an workflow asset if they could work the bugs out. The app also nickel and dimes you for every option, effect, delay, etc.... Make the app $20 and call it a day. I understand charging for sound packs and other creative property - but for everything else, this isnt 1990, those are standard features nowadays. Its also annoying to have to purchase them all individually. Wheres the all-in deal complete options package? Importing audio has gone from being a $6.99 option that crashed the app, to not-being-an-option-at-all. Wheres the import button... Or my refund? Like I said, this app has the potential to be killer, but until they work this out the import features, its kinda useless to me.
I used to hate it & so many of the changes .... I absolutely LOVE it now & the new UX changes are fantastic ! Please add ADSR envelopes
This app in all is a great app to make music on and to have a little fun. I have been cheap and not bought anything, but its still amazing, also love how I can use garage band with it! Some of the loops are a little cheesy and I mean the audio import could be less. Garage band is $5.00, and the import is $6.99. Im pretty sure I can do a lot more on garage band but still overall great
Great app, like, seriously. Maybe add a trial system to test packs.
Very cool app. Probably the best free music making app out on the market. The fact that you can upload your music straight to Soundcloud is very cool! I would recommend this to anyone thats looking to have a little fun with music but not looking to spend too much. The reason I give it 4 stars is because it uses 60 percent of my battery daily on my iPhone, when im not even using it, so I had to delete it! Has a lot of potential for a phone music app!
I love the app, but, it only was a couple of really deep, crazy, or impactful packs! It needs more packs sort of like Trapstep! Please take note of this and I think making songs for my friend and Is YouTube channel (Trapstep with Zach and Josh) would be way more enjoyable!
This is the best app ever nice app.
I adore this app The layout is incredibly fun and simple If you enjoy electronic music it is a must!
Add more free presets theres only 4 out of 90 of something and also these one are bad
If youre looking for an app that gives you great control, this is not it. This app is for creating quick beats by lining up sounds and loops, removing everything else from the formula. It does this well due to its intuitive, responsive interface, and is so simple to use a chimp could probably do it. Totally serious. Thats a compliment. To the person who said youre not a musician if you use premade samples: theres an option to import your own samples, plus keep in mind creating/recording sounds is less than half of the battle; arrangement is a big part of production. With live music, its also a bit like conducting, and, depending on your level of involvement with the pads, potentially playing an instrument. This is not a full digital audio workstation, nor should it strive to be. Its focus on creating stuff in the quickest way possible over precision and control is exactly why it shines. It may not be the ideal tool for producing a detailed multilayered end product, but a fun app for throwing together catchy beats when youre bored or waiting for a plane to dock? I think so. Add the ability to swap pads, and simple editing tools for imported audio (like trim), and youve got yourself 5 stars.
This is the best launchpad app that Ive ever played
Add 2 updates for iPhone: 1)add ability select if a pad is effected by filter, gate, tape stop, delay, or beat repeat when those fxs are intiated. You could just check boxes for each fx you want to fx that selected pad. Reason for this: we dont always want a global fx, we may only want fx on the drums for example. 2)add triplet values on all time based fx, especially the beat repeater fx and gate fx. Reason for this: most beat repeaters we hear in songs have triplet timings as well.
Since Launchpads recent update, the purchases made on one of my devices does not appear in "Restore" area of other devices as it did previously. Looking forward to a resolution to this issue from Launchpad; until then my rating is low. -Pro Recording Engineer
