This is still my favorite app. Ive used it for years starting with iPhone 4s, then on 5c & now with my current SE..it worked great until 2 days ago- when I tried to run it, it wont even start the home page. It shows the novation logo & crashes. Its really frustrating because I have spent well over 20$ in soundpack purchases & had a lot of my own work saved on this app & now it wont even work :( Very upsetting. Should I delete the app then reinstall it & hope it doesnt delete all my work that took me days to complete? Please help!! 5stars will be a small token of appreciation if yall could fix this issue.. thanks

I like this app because me and my friend have idolized people like Zyro for a long time. But the YouTube wont start up because of an error. Please fix this error and make it five ★.

Update: After enduring a week without using Launchpad, and after deleting and reinstalling the app numerous times, resulting in my losing hundreds of my own custom samples. I decided to try another alternative. Since the problem, as stated below, began on November, 16, 2016, which was when Novation added all 50+ of my Launchpad Sound Packs to their great Blocs Waves app. I decided to uninstall and reinstall Blocs Waves instead, and BINGO! It worked. Ill get over my lost work, Im just thankful to have LP & BW working once again. I only wish this worked for elections too! BTW, I use an iPad Mini2. I hope that this may help others who might be having a similar problem. Still 5 Stars+...... Launchpad crashes whenever I attempt to open it, after the 16 Nov Update .....&.....Thanks for adding all of my LP Sample Packs to Bloc Waves! This will be a great advancement in both the LP and BW apps functionality, once I can open LP again....Im using a iPad Mini 2, if that helps...

There are so many great features in this app that it is difficult to decide what to put in a review. Ive been remixing with it for over 1 1/2 years now and I still love it. The developers are regularly adding new features and the new Soundpacks they release almost every week are one of the highlights of my week. Of all the remixing apps, Novation Launchpad has not only the most content, but it is offered at the best value--48 samples for a mere $1.99! The Launchpad team are not just creating a fantastic app, but are also the curators of an evolving, coherent remixing journey. I am a serious musician and though I was one of those that disparaged the modern producers as merely regurgitating canned muzak, I decided to give it a try. My goal was to develop the skills to do Live mixes of my own original music. But I soon realized the true creative potential of and skill involved in remixing with Launchpad. Launchpad as an instrument is creatively satisfying, deeply relaxing, and simply fun. I first downloaded it to use the iPad interface with its standard grid pattern, but soon took to feverishly playing it on my iPhone during my daily three hours on public transportation. Now Novation has added the ability to import ones own samples on the iPhone and create custom sample sets, which was previously only available on the iPad. With the iPhone version I can now make serious music even though Im trapped standing on the aisle of a train or bus--one hand on the support pole and the other making the soundtrack of my life on my iPhone. The only app I use more is one of the same developers other apps--Blocs Wave! I have been creating so many projects in Blocs that the one Soundpack per week that has been made available just wasnt enough. I was Jonesing for more content. I even tried to get some of my Launchpad Samples imported into Blocs. Then the Blocs and Launchpad developers made the greatest update yet. Purchased Launchpad Soundpacks were made available in Blocs Wave for using in projects! I have purchased nearly every Launchpad Soundpack and suddenly my purchases became an investment that doubled in value, except that the new feature is worth 100 times as much to me. Ive even purchased the Novation Launchpad Pro hardware and am having a wonderful time.

Its really good and all but the app would be better if it had more sound packs for free

Flawless until the previous update. It starts to load app, then it disappears into the background as if I pressed the iPad home button. It never loads. Frustrated Launchpad user needs HELP!!! Thank you and hope to getting it up and running again soon. I have a lot of $$ invested. PMA
