I love Novation Launchpad, which generally runs well on my older iPhone 5s. Im not a pro DJ, but I end up with pro results! Its like having an entire mixing studio in my pocket, which turns otherwise mundane experiences (i.e. commuting on bus/train, boredom, etc.) into making me feel like Im mixing live to an amazing crowd at the club! Im just wondering something. I wanted to import files that I unzipped on my iPhone into Launchpad, but "The Man" stopped me, lol. Why do you limit this feature to iPad only? A simple thing like this really stomps on my creative juices and putting my own unique spin on tracks. Remember, not everyone owns an iPad! If a feature that you offer on iPad is technically possible on iPhone (file import surely is doable on iPhone), it should be a no-brainier to include it! ;-) Please review the features you only offer on iPad and port as many as possible to iPhone -- dont leave us iPhone-only users out! Thanks!

This just blew my mind how quick and easy it is to make beats with this software. 2 areas for concern editing the beats and being able to download and share to other sites. Keep up the good work tho

The MIDI sync is exactly what I wanted and it works flawlessly! I am syncing the app to Genome MIDI Sequencer to give me MIDI loops to go with the audio loops in Launchpad. Genome has a mode where it works like an Ableton Live type of clip launcher, and can do scenes also—but just in MIDI. With it one can control hardware synths, synth apps on other computers, or synth apps right on the same iPad. Additionally, Launchpad will start and stop Genome with a simple tap and keep it right on the bar, so I can bring it completely in and out of my live mix as I please, not just launch clips within it. Just wonderful! I think maybe I’ll buy that Novation Bass Station II now and add more killer bass—or as soon as my wife will let me.

Ableton Link support pleeeeese!!! This app could be completely amazing and a game changer with Link support.. We need the Link...

Ive had this app for a few years now and can honestly say with absolutely no reservation that it is the BEST,most understandable,clearest sounding,simplest (without being moronic) music application Ive ever seen,heard,or produced with.Not much bad to say.Only suggestions I could come up with are more frequent sound paks and pads that can be tweaked and manipulated to obtain a more customized sound.Whatever you are doing,keep doing it.Great APP. Guys!.There used to be a midi type feature which was an in - app purchase,but about a couple of months ago it disappeared from my app .It was impossible to use as it was mucho complicated requiring drop box,files,syncing,copying pasting just to get a sound to add to the app.Now that its gone another slightly different midi is being offered for 2.99. Where is my credit for the unusable one that disappeared?. Great app,dont spoil it by aggravating customers.myMY AUDIO IMPORT HAS DISAPPEARED.i paid for that add on and would like either to be reimbursed or given back this option please.

Why no launchpad original support? Also, WHY CANT YOU JUST PAY FOR THE ENTIRE BUNDLE FOR A PRICE BREAK??? Making a free app eventually running you $20 or more for effects and simple capabilities, without buying any sound packs.. Bummer.. Cmon please come out with an IAP BUNDLE OPTION!!!

With one of their updates I cant use my launchpad mini on it anymore

i think my app might be bugged because its not letting me upload my song to soundcloud and other apps like facebook and Twitter also timblr. please fix this.

I am having a hell of a time getting the app to load at all. I select it and try to open only to have it go to the icon over and over. it just wont open and after many tries it works. Only to have it not open next time I visit the app. I think this all started after an the most current update and/or after buying the new flanger fx. I dont want to rate it down because I love this app and use it all the time but right now something is very wrong.

This app is amazing and allows me to upload my own dubstep to soundcloud! Im ok buying exter fx settings and songs (note: you dont have to buy things to get or make good music)! The app is amazing allows so much to be made! Also it costs a lot less than a real launchpad but works just as well!

I love this update. I have been wanting this forever and am so happy it has been added. If they added clip editing and inter-app audio on effects, it would be perfect.

For creating great music on the fly nothing beats it!

Great app along with bloks wave, but more styles such as future bass, REAL chill step, voice chopping and things need to be added. Ive spent over 150$ on both apps and only like 3 packs

The iPad app is incredible! I think it is almost as good as the actual Launchpad! The only thing missing is a way to add custom audio to the buttons. The iPhone app, however, lacks most of these features. I dont see why the buttons arent customizable at all when they are on the iPad version.

Its okay for what it does, but the samples are not in stereo, and when you render a track, it sounds awful. I assume they made the samples in mono to save drive space on the iPad, but any serious musician would find this app to be a childs toy. If they would have made the samples in stereo, it might be a useful app. I gave it 3 stars for this reason. I like to fool around with it, but I would be embarassed to post any of the tracks I made with this app. By the way, in the app, you can pay to unlock the ability to add your own samples, but I am not sure if it accepts stereo or only mono samples. Most of the premium things like MIDI, cool FX, and import you have to pay extra for through an IAP.
